Quilt U Be Mine-Reveal!!
Hello everyone!
I participated in another round robin! Michele over at Quilts From My Crayon Box organized it!
I ended up volunteering to round out a group, so I participated in two groups this time!
I decided to do a little experiment and sent the exact same starter block to both groups…
Group one came up with this:
The gals from group one are
Michele quiltsfrommycrayonbox.blogspot.com
Rahcel claddaghsquiltsandstars.blogspot.com
Ann orange-crumpled-napkin.blogspot.com
Group four came up with this:
The gals from group four are
Vicky vickykcreating.blogspot.ca
Megan spartanbabe.blogspot.com
Renae, who doesn’t have a blog, but I believe her reveal will be at www.yourcrayonbox.blogspot.com
I had a fabulous time doing this and I loved the results!
While participating in these round robins I have become of fan (some call it stalker, whatever.) of Sam. When Sam posted about what she was doing with her QUBM mini, I commented, we got to talking about the situation a bit. Not my story to tell, but the bottom line is that she has a family in need of quilty love. In the end I decided that Sam would do these tops justice and they would end up as loved quilts vs WIP’s on a shelf with me. So I have sent her off the mini quilts and the extra fabric I had from making the centers. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with and I am SO happy that they will both end up hugging someone who will love (and USE) them! Thank you to all of the ladies who worked on my blocks. You all went above and beyond and I can truly say I was floored!
Thanks everyone!!

Aaahhh. How sweet of you to pass on your mini quilts. Amazing how different the tops came out.
First of all both mini quilts really turned out cute. And secondly passing them on to someone that needs them is just fantastic. Thank you for doing that. I know that your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
this was very fun and you got two very cute but different quilts! Great idea for sharing the love. So glad to meet you and get to know you!
It is so interesting to see how the same starter block because two very different quilts. There is so much personality in each one. I’m glad you are sharing the quilty love!
Both of your minis did turn out super cute! I can’t wait to get started adding even more borders and get these turned into quilts that will be loved by people who will absolutely cherish them. Thanks for your generous, giving spirit! It is truly and honor to be a part of such a lovely, giving, online quilty community!
How fun to see how they ended up totally and completely and wildly different! I’m impressed that you are so organized that you can keep track of the separate groups you were in
LOVE! The irish looking block in the first photo!

Great quilts It’s very heart warming to learn of your Valentine gift of quilty love Kudos to you
Two beautiful blocks! I didn’t even notice that they started with the same centre until you said so. And you are a sweetheart for passing on the love.
Love how both turned out. I really love the idea of sending the same block to two groups; so crazy how different they come out! I didn’t even think of doing letters! Oh well, maybe next time.
I think I am loving these Round Robins…and I think I asked this once before…but how long does it take to get your starter back?
Both quilts turned out quite different yet both speak Valentine. Passing on the love was a great idea. I really love the center section of the first one.
