FOF #8-2/22/2013 (SAL Update too!)

Welcome to another Friday!

I missed my SAL update on Wednesday, so here it is. Currently the Topper and the first section/pattern are completed!!

My official FOF for this week is not a quilt!!

I actually have a cross stitch project that has been finished, which I love!! I do think I will finish this into a quilted wall hanging.

The other major thing I got completed was to completely go through all of my fabric and reorganize it! There is something about doing that just feels good! All I have left is to sort the solids by color!

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!!

  1. Wow, Rachel, the Halloween cross stitch is coming along great and the snow and barn scene finish is just awesome! Good job! Woohoo! Look at that stash!

  2. That is a LOT of fabric. Now I don’t feel so bad for what I have. It doesn’t even come close. And I am more than happy to have taken just a tiny bit of it off your hands.

  3. Your fabric looks so happy all organized and sorted into colors.

The xs progress is amazing on the Halloween Rules and the barn, well, you must have raised that when I wasn’t looking. Wow!

  4. Wonderful Xstitch, Rachel! I’m such a sucker for Halloween designs too! Holy smacks is that a great stash or what! How wonderful it looks all neatly stacked! How long will it look that nice? lol…sorry, couldn’t help myself.

  5. The XS looks amazing! both of them! Good job!
    xoxo Kim

  6. I love your cross stitch projects! I can’t decide which is my favorite.

And I adore your storage shelves for your fabric. My fabric doesn’t sort quite that nicely since I tend to collect very colorful prints that don’t fall easily into any one color category. Good job!

  7. Thanks for stopping by! I love the shelves too (fully adjustable, from IKEA) there is a shelf of “undefined” LOL, a large shelf…My favorite cross stitch is always the one I am working on, LOL. Rachel

  8. Halloween Rules looks great! Maybe I’ll stitch that design some day. Wow! That’s a lot of fabric. I wouldn’t have room in my house to be a quilter, better stick to cross stitch!

  9. Congrats on the finish, who is the designer for this one?
Love your fabric storage too, I’d spend so much time just looking at them and sorting them out!

  10. Oh my! That’s quite the stash!!

  11. This design is incredible! You certainly know how to keep a
reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost
moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job.

I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!

Sorry for the verification, but if I don't use it I won't know who you are!
